Online Store Terms

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

You agree not to use our products or website for any unlawful purpose.

2. Products & Availability

  • All products are subject to availability.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.
  • Images are for illustration purposes only; handmade baked goods may vary slightly in appearance.

3. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change at any time without notice.
  • Payment must be completed at checkout using Shopify-supported payment methods.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully received.

4. Custom & Made-to-Order Items

  • Custom and made-to-order items must be ordered at least 14 days in advance.
  • All details must be confirmed before production begins.
  • Custom and perishable items are non-refundable once production has started, in accordance with UK distance selling exemptions.

5. Cancellations & Refunds (UK Consumer Rights)

  • Customers do not have the standard 14-day cooling-off period for perishable goods or custom-made items.
  • Cancellations may be accepted within 48 hours of ordering, provided production has not started.
  • Refunds will only be issued for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Collection & Delivery

  • Collection must be made at the agreed time. Late collection may affect product quality.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.
  • Responsibility for the product passes to the customer upon collection or delivery.

7. Allergens & Food Safety

Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens including nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, wheat (gluten), soy, and sesame.

We operate in a kitchen that handles allergens and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Bake Happy is not liable for allergic reactions.

8. Accuracy of Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate order, delivery, and contact details.

We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided at checkout.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Bake Happy and may not be used without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK law.

Bake Happy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses where permitted by law.
